Binance to End MANTRA (OM) Deposits and Withdrawals on Some Networks
Binance announced it will stop supporting MANTRA (OM) deposits and withdrawals on certain networks from September 26, 2025.
Starting September 26 at 03:00 UTC, users cannot deposit OM tokens via the Ethereum (ERC20) network. Withdrawals of OM will also be disabled on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and Ethereum (ERC20) networks.
Binance warned that any deposits sent through these networks after the deadline will not be credited. Users risk losing funds if they send OM tokens via these networks after the cutoff.
Other networks that support OM deposits and withdrawals will remain active. This change affects only specific networks and does not impact OM trading on Binance.
MANTRA Community Supports Binance’s Transition
MANTRA praised Binance for assisting with the community’s transition. The project called Binance’s support “epic” in a post on X (formerly Twitter), saying it helped “bring $OM hOMe.”
JP Mullin, MANTRA’s CEO, also shared on X that the migration of OM tokens to the Mainnet is progressing quickly. He credited Binance’s support for enabling a smooth migration. The network delisting aims to facilitate this process.
OM Token Price Declines After Announcement
Following Binance’s announcement, OM’s price dropped about 7.43% in one day. According to CoinMarketCap, OM traded at $0.2158 with a market cap near $229.5 million at the time of writing.
The token is down nearly 100% from its all-time high of $9.04 in February 2025. OM’s 24-hour trading volume fell about 22%, reaching $47.25 million.
In late August, MANTRA launched a $25 million OM token buyback program. This followed a $20 million investment from Inveniam, bringing total commitments to $45 million.
The buyback covers roughly 10% of OM’s circulating supply. It aims to boost long-term value and strengthen MANTRA’s position in the real-world asset (RWA) sector.
