Ethereum Foundation Hosts First App Town Hall
The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is co-hosting the first-ever App Town Hall with decentralized app (dApp) teams. The event takes place during the Devconnect conference at La Rural on November 18, 2025. Partners include Nouns, Aave, ENS, Octant, and POAP.
This forum brings together leading app-layer projects to openly share their development plans. It aims to improve transparency and align the dApp ecosystem’s future.
App Town Hall Agenda and Participants
The event runs from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Amphitheater in La Rural. Attendees will hear updates from key figures across the Ethereum application space. Confirmed speakers include Uniswap CEO Hayden Adams and Ethereum Foundation’s Jason Chaskin, who leads App Relations and Research.
Other contributors come from Aave, ENS, Farcaster, Lido, Safe, and Nouns DAO. The town hall marks a new, formal forum focused on application-layer development, complementing the core protocol work usually highlighted at Devcon and Devconnect.
Focus on Collaboration and Community Feedback
The event encourages open dialogue between dApp developers, users, and Ethereum core teams. It seeks to bridge the gap between protocol development and consumer-facing applications. The format includes live Q&A sessions to gather community inputs directly affecting project roadmaps.
This initiative highlights Ethereum’s commitment to collaborative, user-centered innovation. It aims to build more integrated, resilient applications aligned with Ethereum’s technical vision for the coming years.
