Plasma Partners with Trust Wallet to Expand Stablecoin Access
Plasma, a blockchain firm focused on stablecoins, announced a partnership with Trust Wallet. Trust Wallet is one of the largest non-custodial crypto wallets globally. This collaboration aims to increase access to stablecoins worldwide.
The integration allows millions of Trust Wallet users to send, receive, and manage digital dollars. Plasma’s technology offers fast and low-cost transactions. The company said, “With Plasma, everyone using Trust Wallet can use stablecoins on their most efficient rails and infrastructure.”
Trust Wallet to Support Plasma Chain
Trust Wallet will soon support Plasma Chain natively. This will enable users to move and manage stablecoins like USDT with higher speed, lower fees, and better reliability. The announcement was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on October 7, 2025.
Improving Global Payments with Stablecoins
Plasma highlighted that stablecoins act as a financial lifeline in emerging markets. People use them to store value, send money to family, and make daily payments without banks.
The main challenge has been distribution. The partnership connects Plasma’s infrastructure to Trust Wallet’s global user base of over 210 million people. Plasma’s mainnet launched on September 25, 2025, and it has a close integration with Tether, the USDT issuer.
Trust Wallet started as a tool for buying and holding digital assets. It has evolved into a platform for everyday finance. The integration with Plasma will allow zero-fee USDT transfers and instant settlement directly in the app.
