Thrust Launches Celebrity Token Platform in Miami
Mother Coin, linked to Iggy Azalea, surged 25% after Thrust’s debut. Thrust is a new token platform on Solana. It aims to improve transparency in celebrity-backed crypto projects.
The platform launched at the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Miami on November 5-6, 2025. It targets problems in celebrity tokens such as lack of transparency and accountability.
Jake Antifaev co-founded Thrust. The platform offers a legal framework where each creator-backed token has a contract with clear obligations. Iggy Azalea is one of the earliest partners. Her Mother Coin will move to Thrust by the end of 2025.
New Celebrity Tokens and Verified Partnerships
Thrust has also partnered with Twitch streamer N3on. It teased a token launch with actress Megan Fox at Art Basel in December. Unlike other launchpads, Thrust only onboards verified creators and entertainers.
Antifaev said, “We want people committed to creating fan experiences and contributing.” All presale funds go directly to liquidity pools. This removes controversial pricing systems that favored insiders.
Thrust’s Legal Approach to Celebrity Tokens
The platform combines blockchain with entertainment contract law. It partners with law firm Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres. This aims to hold creators accountable and reduce pump-and-dump schemes.
Public trust in celebrity tokens has faded after lawsuits against stars like Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul in 2024. Thrust offers “verified partnerships” with enforceable rights for creators and fans.
Azalea said, “I’ve been trying to create real revenue and give more to the community.” Her projects, like Motherland casino and a telecom service accepting Mother tokens, give the token real-world use.
Memecoins Stay Strong Despite Market Downturn
Bitcoin fell below $100,000 recently, with Ethereum and other major coins also declining. The total market lost about $100 billion. Liquidations exceeded $1.1 billion, driven by concerns about the Federal Reserve’s policies.
Despite this, memecoins remain stable. The memecoin market value surpassed $40 billion in 2025. Tokens like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe are still in the top 100 cryptocurrencies.
Mother Iggy trades at $0.006565 with a 24-hour volume of $487,859. The token is up 9.44% in 24 hours and has a market cap of $6.47 million, according to CoinMarketCap. Analysts link the resilience to younger retail investors who see memecoins as cultural and speculative assets.
A New Era for Crypto and Pop Culture
Thrust represents a new phase in blending crypto with pop culture. It aims to legalize celebrity tokens and restore confidence with a transparent, legally sound model.
If successful, it could lead to more sustainable artist-led projects instead of one-time hype. Critics warn the real test will come after the initial excitement fades. Celebrity tokens often spike at launch but then lose momentum.
Azalea’s Mother Coin migration and upcoming tokens like Megan Fox’s will show if this wave of memecoins can last. As Bitcoin and Ethereum struggle, the spotlight shifts back to meme-driven crypto.
