YZi Labs Launches $1 Billion Fund for BNB Ecosystem Builders

YZi Labs, co-founded by Changpeng Zhao, is investing $1 billion in founders within the BNB Ecosystem. The fund focuses on projects building on the BNB Chain. Key areas include Trading, Real-World Assets (RWA), AI, DeSci, DeFi, Payments, and Wallets.

Founders will benefit from BNB Chain’s fast, low-cost network. They also gain access to tools, funding, and a community of over 460 million users.

EASY Residency Season 2 Expands Globally

Starting October 2025, EASY Residency Season 2 will support the Most Valuable Builders (MVB) program. This season expands to New York, San Francisco, Dubai, and Singapore. Builders get a hands-on environment to develop and launch projects.

Selected MVB participants can receive up to $500,000 in funding. They also get guidance from YZi Labs’ team, mentors, and partners. Additionally, they gain connections within the broader BNB ecosystem. Applications are open on a rolling basis.

BNB Chain’s Growth and Network Upgrades

BNB Chain now processes about 26 million transactions daily. It leads in decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume and shows strong user activity. The BNB token recently surpassed $1,330, ranking as the third-largest cryptocurrency by market value.

In June 2025, the Maxwell Hardfork upgrade improved the network’s speed and cost. Block times dropped to 0.75 seconds, and transaction fees fell to 0.05 Gwei. These changes attracted more builders and users, strengthening BNB Chain’s position for real-world blockchain projects.

YZi Labs’ Contributions to the Ecosystem

YZi Labs has supported projects like PancakeSwap, ListaDAO, Aster, and Aspecta. It helped launch institutional initiatives such as the BNB Digital Asset Treasury by BNC, the RWA Fund by China Renaissance, and the BNB Yield Fund by Hash Global.

The firm has hosted events in Seoul and Singapore. These events connected traditional investors, family offices, and Web3 teams, expanding BNB’s reach and practical use.

Commitment to Supporting Builders

Ella Zhang, Head of YZi Labs, said, “BNB Ecosystem represents the next phase of digital infrastructure, where decentralization and on-chain scalability converge with security and real distribution.”

The fund aims to provide founders with resources and networks to turn ideas into impactful products.
